Description

To assist the supervisor in the execution of their duties for the General maintenance of the bulk water network.

Responsibilities

• Excavate and backfill trenches
• Assist the supervisor with bulk water supply–related tasks
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Perform general maintenance and support duties within the bulk water network

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical duties
• Basic literacy
• Relevant experience in municipal water network maintenance (advantageous)
• Physically fit with no back problems; able to work continuously during operations
• Must undergo a criminal record check and allow fingerprints to be taken (at own cost)
